Safe Plus More: Tell us about HealthBook ME.
Harpreet Cheema: HealthBook ME is an online mental and physical wellness platform in which users can find, connect, schedule appointments, transact and communicate with providers of these services. Users can find and connect with providers using a variety of criteria, like race, location, and sexual orientation. While HealthBook ME offers a virtual back office for providers, it allows users to manage their entire spectrum of wellness services on a single dashboard. Using a person-centric approach, HealthBook ME seeks to make mental health and wellness more diverse, affordable, accessible, and desirable for the under-served populations.
Safe Plus More: Where did the name for your business come from?
The need for a person-centric health and wellness platform that gives the power to decide to the user of these services, rather than the platform telling the user who to connect with. I added the word "Me" to emphasize that.
Safe Plus More: Tell us about the community you serve and how you serve it (both internally- how many staff do you have that work with people and externally)?
Harpreet Cheema: HealthBook me is a homegrown platform that allows users to connect from all over the nation.

Harpreet Cheema: According to the latest statistics, every 1 in 4 individuals suffers from mental health issues, primarily anxiety and depression. In spite of the focus on mental health by the State, very little is accomplished in regards to the adoption and use of the resources available to individuals. HealthBook ME, along with Safe Plus More seeks to make these resources accessible by bringing them many steps closer to the help they need.

Safe Plus More is providing timely and much-needed information on resources to individuals who need it the most. While Safe Plus More puts a life raft in the hands of those in stressful states, HealthBook Me offers the continuity of that support in the form of mental health and wellness services on their platform.
